It’s been a few weeks now.

We’re still a bit rough around the edges. Still some things to unpack and to find a home for. And I’ve not stopped to take stock of the move really.

It was a big decision not to take the unit we’d reserved on Central Square in Maghull. That had been part of our plan since Day One, from before we launched back in 2021. But we had a bit of a change of plan, a bit of a change of focus. And that meant moving to an amazing office complex - without a doubt the best collection of workspaces outside of Liverpool City Centre (and better than a load of them there in the middle of it too).

And we’ve been busy since we moved in. Figuring out how the new space works, how we all work together. How we best use the building and it’s meeting rooms and co-working spaces and bars and coffee shops.

We’ve made some operational changes. Tweaked some roles. Worked on prioritisation and work flows and communication. And introduced a whole new CRM.

So how has all that impacted things? Pretty significantly.

Our team is more cohesive and we’re working more collaboratively. For the first time in a long time, I can be in the same space as the rest of the people that work with us. We can see trends and pinch points and room for improvement. This is incredible for us.

Is it working? I reckon so. It’s pushing us on.

We’re in the middle of the busiest period that we’ve ever been fortunate enough to enjoy. The team are energised and motivated and loving their new space. We’re helping more people move than before and working on partnerships and collaborations that will allow us grow further, help more people, offer more services - better, more rounded services.

Collaborating with others is also a real treat. The building is full of other great businesses and we’ve been lucky enough to work with designers, cake makers, restauranteurs and brokers that call Liverpool Road Studios home already.

Is there more to do? Yep. We’re always looking at ways to improve. But at the minute I’m going to bed each night and waking up each morning with a smile on my face, thankful for all we’ve done and excited for all that we’re working toward.
